Who qualifies for the military discount?
Active duty service members of all branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force), reservists on active orders, National Guard on active orders, and veterans qualify for our military discount. We verify with a military ID, active orders, or DD-214.
Who qualifies for the student discount?
Currently enrolled college students — undergraduate or graduate — at any accredited US institution qualify. We verify with a current student ID, enrollment letter, or .edu email address. Recent grads don’t qualify; you need to be actively enrolled.
How much is the discount?
Military and student discounts typically range from 5–10% off standard transport pricing, depending on route and season. The exact amount is confirmed in your quote — no hidden reductions, no bait-and-switch.
Do PCS moves get special handling?
Yes. PCS (permanent change of station) moves often have tight timelines and specific pickup constraints due to orders. We match PCS customers with carriers who handle military moves regularly and understand base access, CONUS/OCONUS coordination, and orders-based timelines.
Can you ship to or from a military base?
Yes, our carriers regularly ship to and from most US bases. For bases with restricted vehicle access, we coordinate pickup or delivery at a nearby agreed-upon location. Tell us the base when booking so we match you with a carrier familiar with the area.
Does the military discount apply to enclosed or expedited?
Yes. The discount applies to all ASNM services — open, enclosed, door-to-door, expedited, and dealer. Pick the service that fits your move, the discount comes off the total.
Can I use both a military and student discount?
If you’re an active duty or veteran service member who’s also a full-time student (including GI Bill students), contact us and we’ll apply the best available rate — we don’t stack the discounts, but we’ll use whichever is higher.
What about overseas shipments?
OCONUS military moves require port coordination we can help arrange. Tell us your origin, destination, and timeline and we’ll map out what’s possible — US-side transport to port, port handling, and overseas pickup connections.
