Inside Florida.
Short-haul lanes.
Florida’s intra-state network is the fastest, most dealer-heavy region we cover. Most routes are 85-345 miles — too short for consumers to ship, so the audience is car dealers (auction pickups, inventory transfers, online buyer delivery) and INOP shippers (totaled vehicles, project cars, salvage purchases). 16 active two-way routes connecting Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Naples, and Key West with same-day and next-day delivery.
Real audience, real economics.
Florida intra-state isn’t a snowbird corridor. Consumers drive these distances. The actual customers are dealers and INOP shippers — and we built this network around them.
Why Florida intra-state is different.
Most auto transport corridors are dominated by consumers — snowbirds, relocations, online buyers. Florida intra-state is the opposite. Consumers just drive 85-345 mile distances, so the actual users of this network are professional and specialty shippers.
Why consumers don’t ship intra-state.
If you’re driving from Miami to Orlando, you’ll be there in 3.5 hours. Tampa to Naples is 2 hours. Jacksonville to Tampa is 3 hours. These are drive distances, not ship distances. A consumer comparing the time and cost of shipping vs. driving will almost always drive.
That’s not a criticism — it’s just the math. When transport quotes start at $225-$325 and a tank of gas runs $40-$50, most people choose to drive. Shipping makes sense when there’s a reason you can’t drive: the vehicle doesn’t run, you don’t own it yet (auction wins, online purchases), or you’re moving inventory you’ll never personally use (dealer transfers).
That’s why Florida intra-state customers cluster into three groups: dealers, auction buyers, and INOP shippers. The route pages we’ve built reflect that reality with dealer/INOP-first framing and pricing structures.
Who actually books these routes.
Florida car dealers — inventory transfers between metro lots, dealer-to-dealer trades, customer delivery for online sales, trade-in repositioning. The biggest single audience.
Auction buyers — Manheim Tampa, Orlando, Daytona Beach; Copart Tampa, Orlando, Miami; IAA across Florida. Dealers and licensed buyers winning vehicles at auction need them delivered to their lots or shops. Same-day pickup is common.
INOP vehicle shippers — totaled cars heading to body shops or salvage buyers, project cars between owners, estate vehicles, salvage-titled purchases. The vehicle doesn’t run, so shipping is the only option.
Specialty buyers — classic car collectors, exotic car dealers, motorcycle shippers, car detailers picking up vehicles. Smaller volume but consistent.
The occasional consumer — sometimes people genuinely can’t drive their own car (injury, work schedule, multi-vehicle moves). Real, just rare on these short distances.

What to know about intra-state.
A few things specific to Florida intra-state routes worth knowing before you book.
If your vehicle doesn’t drive, rolls poorly, or has any operability issue, tell us when you book. Carriers need the right equipment (rollback vs wheel-lift). INOP fee is $150-$300 on top of base rate depending on condition.
For Manheim, Copart, or IAA pickups, you need to provide the gate pass, lot number, and buyer authorization. We handle the rest. Same-day pickup available if you book by 10am for time-sensitive auction wins.
Running monthly volume between Florida metros? Set up a dealer account — typically 15-25% below consumer rates with flat-rate or per-load pricing. Worth it if you move more than 3-4 vehicles a month.
