Our Orlando Office

Boots On
The Ground.

Most auto transport “companies” you find in Orlando are call centers in another state — sometimes another country — who farm your shipment out to whoever picks up the load. We’re different. AutoShippingNearMe just opened a real Orlando office in SoDo, half a mile from the I-4 on-ramp, staffed by people who live here and know the Central Florida carrier network personally.

Walk in for a quote. Bring photos of your vehicle. Talk through pickup logistics with a human who’s coordinated thousands of these moves on the I-4 corridor. We’re a finder — we connect you with the right licensed local carrier for your specific route — and being physically based two miles south of Downtown Orlando, with direct highway access, means we can dispatch and coordinate faster than anyone shipping calls in from a thousand miles away.

The Carriers
Behind The Wheel.

Real operators. Local routes. No middlemen.

Our entire platform exists because the auto transport industry buries the people who do the actual work under layer after layer of brokers. We surface them. The carriers in our Orlando network are licensed operators with FMCSA authority, real cargo insurance, and trucks they own and drive themselves.

When you book through our Orlando office, you get matched with a vetted local carrier whose route fits yours — not whoever happens to bid lowest on a load board. That’s the difference between a finder and a broker, and it’s the only way to get your vehicle moved by someone you can actually talk to.

Orlando Pickup Hotspots

Where We Pick Up
In Central Florida.

Some pickup locations come up over and over. Auctions, theme park employee zones, the Lake Nona medical campus, snowbird communities, the dealer corridor. Here are the spots where our carriers know the gate codes, the loading rules, and the best times to roll in.

01

Mecum Kissimmee

The largest collector car auction in the world runs right here every January. We coordinate with the auction house for lot pickups, transport documentation, and tight delivery windows when buyers need their cars home fast.

02

Lake Nona Medical City

Relocating physicians, biotech researchers, and VA hospital staff move in and out of Lake Nona constantly. We handle vehicle shipping for new hires, fellowship transfers, and dual-household coordination across the country.

03

OBT Dealer Corridor

Orange Blossom Trail is one of the densest dealer strips in the Southeast. We move dealer trades, customer purchases, and inventory transfers up and down OBT — same-day pickup, dealer-friendly paperwork, no surprises.

04

The Villages

Just up the Turnpike from Orlando, The Villages is the snowbird capital of Florida. October inbound, April outbound — we run dedicated routes north every spring and south every fall, and our office handles the seasonal volume directly.

05

Disney & Universal Cast

Theme park cast members and college program participants relocate from all over the country. We work with cast housing complexes on pickup logistics — restricted entry, limited windows, and the realities of shipping when you don’t own a parking spot.

06

Port Canaveral

Cruise passengers ship vehicles in for road trips home, and snowbirds bring cars off cruises bound back north. We coordinate with port logistics — pickup timing tied to disembarkation, customs documentation when needed, terminal pickup or door-to-door.

Why Orlando Works

The I-4 Pivot Point.

Orlando isn’t just in the middle of Florida — it’s the literal hinge of the state’s transport network. I-4, the Florida Turnpike, and the I-95 connector all converge here. Carriers running Tampa↔Daytona pass through Orlando every single day. Carriers heading north out of Miami stop in Orlando before continuing up I-95. That density is exactly why our same-day Tampa pricing is the lowest in the state.

For our customers, Orlando’s geography means three things: fast availability (more carriers passing through means more pickup windows), competitive pricing (carriers fill returning empties on Orlando routes), and route flexibility (we can match you to a carrier already heading your direction instead of dispatching one cold).

Common Questions

Orlando Shipping FAQ

Real questions from Orlando customers — auction buyers, snowbirds, theme park transferees, and everyone in between.

Can you pick up vehicles from Mecum Kissimmee or other auction lots?+
Yes — auction pickups are one of our core Orlando workflows. We coordinate directly with Mecum Kissimmee, Manheim Orlando, and other auction houses on lot access, gate passes, and the documentation transfer between you, the auction, and the carrier. If you’ve just bought at Mecum, call us before you leave the auction floor and we can usually have transport arranged before your title even clears.
How much does it cost to ship a car from Orlando?+
Pricing depends on your destination. Orlando to Tampa starts at $275 — our most affordable corridor thanks to I-4 carrier density. Orlando to Jacksonville starts at $325, Miami at $350, Atlanta at $500, Houston at $750, Dallas at $850. All prices are door-to-door and all-inclusive. Enclosed transport for high-value vehicles runs roughly 50–70% above open-carrier pricing.
Do you handle The Villages snowbird runs?+
Yes — and it’s a big chunk of our seasonal volume. We run dedicated snowbird routes north every April–May (Villages to Michigan, Ohio, New York, New England) and south every October–November on the return. If you’re a Villages resident booking a seasonal run, mention it when you call — we can usually pair you with a carrier already running the corridor and get you a better rate.
Can you pick up from Disney or Universal cast member housing?+
Yes. Cast housing complexes have specific pickup rules — restricted entry, limited windows, gate logistics — and our Orlando carriers know how to work with them. If you’re a college program participant or transferring cast member, just give us your complex name when you book and we’ll coordinate the pickup details directly with housing services.
Do you offer same-day delivery from Orlando?+
Yes — same-day is standard on Orlando to Tampa (85 miles) and Orlando to Jacksonville (140 miles). For longer corridors, next-day or two-day is the standard. Same-day is most reliable when you book before 10am ET.
Do you cover Lake Nona, Kissimmee, Sanford, and Winter Park?+
Yes — full coverage of the Orlando metro. Lake Nona, Kissimmee, Sanford, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Ocoee, Apopka, Celebration, Lake Mary, Longwood, and every surrounding area. Our coverage radius extends about 75 miles from our Orlando office, which captures Lakeland to the west and most of the Space Coast to the east.
Can you coordinate with Port Canaveral arrivals?+
Yes. We handle vehicle pickups tied to cruise disembarkation timing, port-of-entry vehicle arrivals, and the documentation that comes with both. Cruise passengers heading home up the East Coast are one of our regular pickup categories.
Are you a broker or a carrier finder?+
We’re a finder — and the distinction matters. A broker takes your shipment and posts it to a load board for any carrier to grab. We work with a vetted, licensed network of local carriers we know personally, and match you to the right one for your specific route. You’re connected directly to the operator who’s actually moving your vehicle, not handed off down a chain of middlemen.
Is my vehicle insured during transport?+
Yes. Every carrier in our network carries full FMCSA-required cargo insurance, and we provide proof of coverage before loading. For high-value vehicles, additional coverage is available through enclosed transport.
Do you require payment upfront?+
No. We never require payment before you’ve met your carrier and confirmed pickup. Payment is collected at or after pickup — never before.
